Impact:
This program focused on building individual self esteem and music leadership skills, creating colaborative, intergenerational music learning and performance opportunities.
The unique way in which the program is delivered and through the aid of music, young people have engaged in a supervised learning environment… to develop skills such as leadership, commitment and communication.

Mutitjulu, Uluru, Central Desert

3 x Music Programs, 3 x Community Concerts, 1 x Art Program, 3 x Art Market Performances
Impact:
The Mutitjulu band went on to perform at the Mutitjulu Naidoc event, and Voyagers resort in Yulara. Subsequently the band gained a life changing opportunity to travel to Sydney for the ABC’s Recording Studio T.V

Gunbalanya, Arnhem Land (2021)
Outcomes:
Whole Community Concert, 11 track EP of local bands.
Impact:
Increased school attendance and employment outcomes for local music leaders.
Maningrida, Arnhem Land

Impact:
Manage recording studio setup included ordering and shipping all studio equipment. GTM filmmaker made documentaries for Morning Star ceremony & Babbaba Women’s Centre.
Kaltukatjara (Docker River), Central Desert
Outcomes:
37 original tracks recorded and mixed and a Community Concert for local bands. Unearthed Docker River Band.
Impact:
52 individuals attended adult music workshops over 2 weeks, producing a collection of orginal music.

Everytime we work with a community, we also offer a range of instruments to program participants, thanks to the Wes Slater Instrument Donation Program.
If you would like to support a budding musican who doesn’t have the means or access to buy an instrument, donate one today!
Since 2012, we have been re-homed over 500 second hand instruments to musicians in need.
Help us take your pre-loved instrument to a new home. We appreciate donations of new and used music equipment in all major cities.
